Our Cream and Sage DIY package is the definition of a classic! Its soft color palette of dreamy creams and lush sage greens are deeply romantic and impossibly gorgeous! This is a great color palette for every season and serves as a wonderful base for a variety of bridesmaid dress colors.

We designed this package by starting with a base of greenery including Baby Eucalyptus, Olive Branch, Gunni Eucalyptus, and Silver Dollar Eucalyptus. Then we added volume with White Escimo Roses and Cream Spray Roses. We finished our design with White Ranunculus, White Veronica, and White Lisianthus flowers for a gorgeous mix of textures! Designer Tips for This Collection

Storing Bouquets After Designing

Now that you’ve built your bouquets, you’ll need to store them until the wedding day. Just like ice cream needs to be kept in the freezer, fresh flowers need to be hydrated to look their best. After all, the flowers don’t know that they’re in a bouquet now, they only know that they’re thirsty.

After you’ve built them, you’ll give everything another fresh cut so the stems will be even with each other and have a fresh drinking surface. Then you’ll fill a wide-mouthed vase with water and place your flowers in it so that the stems are below the water line. You’ll have your zip ties on the bouquets but wait to add your ribbon. You’ll want to do that before you walk down the aisle (or assign this task to a helper) so the ribbon doesn’t get soaked.

Double Faced Satin Ribbon

To finish off those bouquets, you’ll want to add a special touch with your ribbon! We love our double faced satin ribbon in ivory or white. This would also be a great time to add in color if you’d like to match your maids’ dresses! You can use one color for the bouquets or layer two colors to be a lil’ extra. Layer ivory satin ribbon with any one of our colors like mauve, dusty blue, or blush pink for a gorgeous look. We tend to average half a yard for a wrapped bouquet and 1.5 yards for draped bouquets.
